Radio Frequency spectrum is one of the fundamental components necessary for the deployment of mobile telecommunication networks. This paper will discuss the development, evolution, and future plans of spectrum use relating to mobile telephony and data. This technology has gone through many iteration, and advancements over the years, often necessitated be a chance in the way the technology was being used and the number of people using it.

The IEEE 802.11 series of standards for wireless local area network (WLAN) electronic communication and are ubiquitous throughout modern society. This paper will discuss the inception, evolution, implementation, and future of the standards from both a technical as well as regulatory point of view. INTRODUCTION IEEE 802.11 is a series of standards that cover an implementation of WLAN in the 2.4, 3.7, 5, and 60GHz frequency bands. Theses standards were created, and are maintained by, the IEEE Local Area Network/ Metropolitan Area Network committee.
This is an update to my computer setup current as of January 2013. The main update to my computer setup over the Christmas holidays is the addition of the Intel NUC (Next Unit of Computing) to my rig. I purchased the NUC over the holidays so that I would be able to take my laptop to class without having to constantly be unplugging cables. The NUC runs a mobile core i3 3rd generation (Ivy Bridge) clocked at 1.
When you look at the current diversity in the smart phone market, statistics show, as you would expect, that Android is at the top, followed by iOS, then BB OS, then Windows Phone. When looking at the tablet market you get quite a different picture. With tablets, unlike phones, iOS is the predominant player with over 60% of the tablet market share. Now one could attribute this discrepancy to the fundamental difference between the beginnings of the smart phone market compared to that of the tablet market.

Golf is not a sport. Golf is not a sport, shooting is not a sport, and Chess And StarCraft are not a sports either. To understand why I am saying golf is not a sport you have to understand the way I classify what a sport is. A sport, in my mind, needs to contain two components: a physical one and a skill aspect. There are many activities that have only one of those two aspects, either requiring skill to do well, or requiring some form of physical talent, but fewer of which fall into both.
